Currently, Tipi Loschi of Lansing, Inc. is a registered non-profit in the state of Michigan. This does not automatically make us a tax-exempt organization and means donations are not yet tax-deductible.
We are working with the IRS to get all of the paperwork together for this. The total cost for this will amount to about $275. Besides the benefit of allowing you to deduct any future donations from your taxes, this will also open our paths toward additional resources available to full-fledged charities.
